Hi,

In order to do some integration the device needs to have some developer API. I do not think Xiaomi band has any such a API at the moment.

Thank you very much.

Hi, I bought a Xiaomi Mi Band, and I'm waiting for the shipping. I would like to know if that smart band works with Sleep As Android. If it doesn't work, will it work in the future?
Thanks!

Mi Band just got updated to support Google Fit. Is there a way for Sleep As Android to interact with Google Fit to get the necessary data?

Hello,

thank You very much for you interest. Newly we have started a beta-testers community on Google Plus:
https://plus.google.com/communities/118357633878055641730

You can join the community and then opt-in at the following address
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.urbandroid.sleep

After that You should be starting receiving latest BETA updates through the Play Store.

In the latest BETA we added Google Fit support including import of 3rd party sleep sessions. The question is whether Mi Band exports also sleep data, which I doubt. But still we are able to tag your sleep records with sport tag based on your Mi Band activity data..

Thank you very much.

Dear Petr,

there are several apps now that support the Xiaomi Mi Band without official API. Check out

The Mi Band is probably the most popular smart band around. It would be highly appreciated if it was supported. Sleep as Android is one of my favorite apps, and also the first app I gave money for. I would like to use it later on as my sleep tracker rather than a dedicated Mi Band application.

Regards,
Nandor

So, something updated for it?
I have Xiaomi Mi Band 2. Also I have "Mi Fit" integrated into Google Fit. Can Sleep as Android check heartbeat from Google Fit or Mi Fit services to calculate smart wakeup?
Or can Sleep as Android notify me on wake up time through device (vibration) ?

Hello, we have this supported, we even can track you sleep using mi band, vibrate on smart wake up and collect your HR from the device, but you need to install Tools & Mi Band for that..

Thank you very much.

I must pay again and I must install third party application again like in case of Tasker :(

But why any other applications can vibrate without third party tools? Any sms, mail, default alarm clock, telegram and others can use it. Any time on event I see icon and hear vibration but in case of Sleep as Android nothing happens, only phone play sound.

Hello,

many thanks for your feedback. Tools & Mi Band did reverse engeneer Xiaomi protocols to provide a complete Sleep as Android integration including sleep tracking, alarms with snooze or dismiss, HR data and more. This was a an increadible achievement by Zdenek Horak - the developer behind Tools & Mi Band. We would not be able to do this as this is a specialized BT snoofing job which we are no capable of.

Normally Mi Band can do a short vibe when you get notification but this would probably not wake you up in morning.

Thank you very much.
