Hi

I have some doubts about sleep stats and the advices (regression model) and recommendations of sleep.

Do the advices change significantly if I add some naps some days? Should I avoid to add it? I see the app as an alarm and statistic program to long sleep times, and I don't know how will work with smaller times like 30m or 1 hour added manually without stats or with stats but so small that I don't know if the app will be able to use that data correctly.

any advice?

It has the special alarms for naps which don't track your sleep and dissipate when you hit them. Moreover, the very short sleep sessions (~1.5hrs or less), even if tracked are not considered in statistics.

Hello guys,

thank you Alex for explanation I just have a note here. For the advice section only the longest sleep in a particular day is considered. Consecutive sleeps (within an short interval) are concatenated for that purpose. More over as Alex said short naps are filtered out. If you only have a longer nap in a day and you are missing sleep tracking this may affect the advice, but there we have outlier filtering and a nap will probably be an outlier so anyway it should not affect the regression model.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Petr
