Hello,

Sleep as Android worked perfectly on my phone until a few months ago it stopped tracking my sleep - all graphs are flatlined completely, or almost completely. I think it coincided with the time when I switched to another phone and so I took out the memory card (the SIM card is there but disabled. I found keeping the phone charging every night was very damaging to the battery so I thought I might keep the old phone just for the purpose of running SaA.) Could this have anything to do with it? Apart from that, nothing changed, same bed, same mattress, the sensitivity settings are set on "high" and testing the sensors seems to show they are fine too. Rebooting the phone didn't help. Any ideas?

Hello,

Could you check whether you are getting any data using the menu->sensor test
Moreover - do 3rd party apps get any data from the accelerometer? For example if you could try the Sensor List app?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Yes, the sensor test seems to show that the sensors are fine.

As for Sensor List app - which one do you mean, because there are two in the Play Store? I have installed this one but I don't know how to check for 3rd party apps - all it shows is just the list of sensors with all their technical data.

Sorry, the link to the app doesn't work. I meant this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.kwiatkowski.sensorchecklist

I am also having a similar problem!  My graph appears to be filled with noise and movement all throughout the night about a half hour into tracking.  The timing coincided with android updating to 6.0.1 on a Samsung Note 4.  Could the error have something to do with older phones on newer versions of android?  Apps such as S Health, which tracks steps and whatnot, also updated at the same time.  Could there be a conflict between the two apps?

Can you please share one of the affected graphs? We had a similar issue some time ago. In only happened on the Galaxy Nexus and some motorolas, but there was a buggy state of the accelerometric sensor, so if other app set a different mode the graph suddenly went crazy. We had this issue with Noom pedometer but I guess S Health may have a similar effect. We already know about S Health and SaA interference issue on S7..

Thank you very much.

ello,

Please find the screenshots above (sorry, the editor just _won't_ paste them below. I include also one of the "good" graphs, before something went wrong. My phone is Samsung GT-I9070, Android 4.1.2.

Last night I disabled S Health in the app manager and tested again.  I now have what appears to be a normal graph.  Here are screen shots:

The normal graph is from last night.  The second graph is how they've been looking, more or less, for the past week.  I guess S Health was the culprit in my case, running a Note 4 on Android 6.0.1.  I hope this is helpful to someone.
