Hi,

Thanks for your email. Could you, please, send a debug report right after the alarm rings (main screen -> menu -> report a bug)?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

As the title says, my alarms always play at full volume. I've tried setting the default alarm volume, specific alarm volume, and even the system alarm volume to the lowest setting, but it still plays full volume. My phone has a very loud speaker, so you can imagine why this would be a problem right next to my ear in the morning.

What can I do to fix this? I have a OnePlus 2 running Oxygen 2.1, which is based on Android 5.1. Is this "exotic firmware" causing the problem?

Currently my workaround is to use vibrate only and use a ringtone as the backup alarm.

Hi,

I do not see any alarm that would ring for some longer time. Could you schedule alarm to ring soon and let it ring say for 5 minutes? Just to get longer long and see if there is anything obvious. There should be a gradual volume increase happening, but it is not visible in this short time window.

Thank you very much.

I found that if I disable the gentle volume increase setting, the alarm plays at the correct volume. Tomorrow I'll try different time settings for gentle volume increase and see if it makes a difference.

I let the alarm ring for a few minutes this time. It started at full volume as usual, but after a minute or so, it went to the volume setting and slowly increased the volume like it's supposed to.

Now I just need to figure out how to get it to start at my volume setting.
