I see where you can opt for online radio as the alarm. I also see an option to add your own stations, prompting you to enter a url. Where do I get that url from? Are there any streaming radio services that are known to work well with this feature? All the streaming radio sites I visit don't direct you to a unique page (with a unique url) to listen to a particular stream. Does that make sense?

I'd like to use this feature, but I'm not keen on the stations "pre-loaded". I would like to learn how to add my own, I am just unsure how to do it properly.

Thanks for your time... and thanks for such an amazing app! I've been using it for a few years now. I've gone through three phones and it's always the first app I install.

Hi,
thanks for asking this question!

The preloaded radios are mostly from Soma FM (somafm.com), because they provide direct link to the streaming URLs. We support also .m3u files (because they are just plain text files with the direct streaming URL), but we have found that they sometimes do not work as they are handed over to the Android media player and it sometimes can't read them. We have a fix for that in the beta that will be released probably tonight.
You can also open the .m3u file in a text editor and type in the URL on Your own.
If there is no .m3u neither a direct URL, there are actually websites that gather and list these files/URLs. Take a look at http://www.listenlive.eu/ for an example.

Thank you very much.
