Hello,
thank you for your email. Integration with Spotify is a difficult task as their API is very limited and being more and more limited over time.
The Spotify API sometimes unexpectedly stops reacting to our intent to play a song. We then try to play a default song, which is Eye of the tiger.
The only thing that helps is to close and reopen Spotify app. You can do that in the recent apps screen - long press the hardware menu button and then swipe Spotify app away. Then play a song in Spotify, pause it and go to sleep.

When playing a Spotify album as a ringtone, this is never needed. To see how to add a Spotify album for use with Sleep as Android, see sleep.urbandroid.org/help/spotify_album.mp4

You can also select several Spotify albums to shuffle play songs between them in Settings > Alarm default settings > Playlist

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Am I stupid or does the integration of Spotify seem broken/limited?

The only option for Spotify is "Current Playlist"? What does that even mean when all I wake up to is "Eye of The Tiger" every morning when I select it? I don't have that song in any of my playlists nor do I ever listen to it!

Is there something I'm missing or is this integration just terrible? The advice given within the online guide doesn't help at all.

Appreciate any help!
