Hello,
to be able to track your movements during the night we need to keep the CPU running. Although sleep consumes very little of the CPU, there may be other services which will take the CPU when it is there. There is an Android bug in 2.2 which makes the suspend thread consume 30% CPU constantly for example. In this case there is little you can do (unless upgrading the firmware) as this is a system process. On the other hand it may be caused by other processes, so please make sure to stop any services which may cause such issues before you start tracking.
Also what you may try is the auto-start feature for Sleep. When enabled you don't need to start tracking it will start automatically ~1.5 hours before your wake-up just to measure your movements and find the best time to wake you up. In such case the battery won't have enough time to get hot.
I hope this helps a little.
Best regards,
Petr

Hi,
I recently bought your app and I must say it has greatly increased my sleep quality, thank you.
However, my phone seems to be running hot all night while the app is in use and my battery temp reaches about 46 degrees Celsius. Is this normal?
