to Sleep as Android
Have tried using the Sleep as Android app two nights in a row now. Each night I've begun the tracking on my watch and it is active. I can check the phone and see it is tracking.

I then put my phone down (screen down) and double press my watch button to shut the screen off. In the morning I activate my screen and the notification that sleep tracking is active still shows; I pull it up and "Stop" tracking.

Then checking the phone it says I slept for 3 minutes. So something has stopped it on the phone almost immediately but the watch thinks it is still going.

Phone isn't dead, has been plugged in all night, battery 100%. Wifi is on, is connected to the watch.

Phone is OnePlus 3 running Android 7 and Oxygen OS 4.0.3

Hello, we have reports that the battery optimizations on 1+ are too aggressive to keep background processes running. Can you please exclude Sleep as Android and the Wear app?

Also can you share one of the reports?

Thank you very much.

I can't see an obvious option in battery settings or the app settings to do that. Can you tell me where the option you're referring to is? The phone is plugged in overnight so no battery saving would be running.

Hi, we are not sure since we do not have a OnePlus phone at hand, but on Huawei for example the settings are as follows:

Settings - Advanced Settings - Battery manager - Power plan is set to Performance..
Device Settings - Advanced Settings - Battery Manager - Protected apps - check for Sleep as Android as Protected
Device Settings - Apps - Sleep as Android - Battery - Power-intensive prompt [x] and Keep running after screen off [x]..

Thank you very much.

From what I can see all options such as doze, aggressive hibernate etc are switched off. Also it seems most power saving features kick in after some time, not 2-3 minutes, so I'm not sure whether that would apply here. I'll try testing whilst awake and see if I notice anything else
