I'm having a weird issue with alarm timeout and backup ringtone.

I have NFC QR captcha set up.

Now - I have alarm set for 7am, it starts ringing, I choose dismiss (red button), then I (uhm) do something, probably go back from 'scan nfc) to the screen where i have separate button "scan" which silences allarm (i think it's a bug? when you are tired in the morning you do things without thinking just to have a moment of silence ;) ) and after 20 minuts of this silencing a backup allarm kicks in (which is awesome!) but... it stops after 2-3 minutes for no apparent reason why? Is there an option to force this alarm and disable any other way to silence it except for the NFC?

I have "Alarm timeout" set to 20 minutes and "alarm timeout limit" set to 3 (tho name and explenation of the option is a bit not clear...).

tl;dr: is it possible to make backup alarm sound longer?

oh, and one more thing - after this whole dance with silencing a few times and kicking in backup alarm and closing it with nfc scan... most of the time the alarm sounds again and I have to scan it again after a while...

Hi,

The back-up alarm should sound as long as "alarm timeout" says, if it does not, please send us a debug report right after this happens.

To the problem of silencing an alarm when scanning is in progress -> Look on the option settings -> captcha -> alarm volume in captcha.

Cheers,
 Martin

Thanks with the volume in captcha - i thought there suppose to be an option but I've missed it.

As for the timeout - I think that backup alarm starts around 20 minutes of the regular alarm then then it's being killed.  I've went over the options and I may have a theory:
- set 20 minutes is for complete regular alarm + backup alarm timeout (not separate)
- I have alarm timeout limit (max consecutive alarm) set to 3
- I have 'volume increase' set to 6 minutes (and I thing  my ringtone may fall into same lenght

so mentioned ~2-3 minutes would fit between 18 and 20 minutes and then alarms gets killed

bottomline - does this 20minutes denote global alarm duration (ie counts both regular and backup alarm)?
