Hello,

I'm running across some unusual behavior and I'm trying to track it down. On my previous phone (LG G4), if I turned Airplane Mode on, all the records would stay off until morning. Note, with my Nexus 5x, I turn on Airplane Mode (as recommended by Sleep) and for the first week or two, it behaved as one would expect, with the radios staying off. Now, even though Airplane Mode is on, my wifi turns itself on in the needle of the night. I've had the exact same behavior with two 5xs now. Am I missing something obvious? Sleep hadn't started turning on WiFi in the middle of the night for some reason, has it? I wouldn't expect it to, especially since the devs recommend using it in Airplane Mode at night for health reasons but I needed to check because it's happening somehow. Has anyone come across this behavior? Do you think it's my phone?

Thanks so much in advance! I use Sleep every single night and love it. BTW, I printed off the some of the Sleep data charts for my doctors since I'm working through some long-standing sleep disorders and they were extremely impressed! I'm looking forward to adding a wearable (hopefully this year)!

Hi!

Indeed, Sleep can turn Wifi on briefly for some reasons, specifically the integrations as seen in Settings > Services. Which services are you using?

Thank you very much.

Hi, I've been struggling with the same issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. I put it in Airplane Mode every night, and most morning wake to my alarm to find wifi is on - very frustrating because I don't want a device next to my head blaring a wifi signal. I checked the Settings > Services. I had IFTTT and Google Calendar on. Were these somehow triggering Wifi on? I've turned them off for testing.

Hi,

yes, IFTTT is definitely turning wifi on when it needs to. It will always switch wifi back off after it is done, but if this is not what you want, please disable IFTTT altogether.

Thank you very much.

Thank you for the reply. I did disable IFTTT over a week ago and have had no further issues with wifi being on when I wake up.
