to Salt Lake Children's Choir
Hello everyone,
The Salt Lake Children's Choir Spring Concert will be on Friday, May
9th, 2008 and Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at the recently remodeled First
Presbyterian Church (South Temple and C Street, Salt Lake City, UT).
The concert will include works of Palestrina, Bach, Schubert,
Schumann, and American masters, Howard Hanson and Randall Thompson;
charming melodies from Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, and the British
Isles. The choir will present captivating Brazilian, Venezuelan, and
Caribbean rhythms as well as sounds of the Andes and Native America.
American popular music will include an original arrangement of "On the
Sunny Side of the Street" with noted jazz pianist Steve Keen.
