Hello SL board,

I know most of you will not be able to attend tonight, but I want to let you all know that the core values of SL, especially the changes that flow from a commitment to live sustainably with intention, form a core part of the content I will share this evening. We really are the change we seek for the world, and based on the turnout at the march Saturday, people are waking up all over the world!  Sarah and my wife Sheila (so did Sarah's daughter and one of my daughters :) were there - yay!  Now is the perfect time to reinforce our message to the global consumer culture that everyone can make individual choices that will contribute the collective evolution of an ecologically based culture and economics.  Chuck

High St., Columbus 43201 Special guest Lynn Stan, entrepreneur and member of the Support Our Local Economy Coalition Steering Committee, will join instructors Chuck Lynd and Mac Crawford to explore in depth the “Next Economy” and it's emergence from the bottom up. Lynn will share her experience working with small businesses in Ohio at Celebrate Local. Participants are encouraged to read Chuck's blog. We will look at the diversity of new economic models and learn how everyone can help create a sustainable economy that will supplant the global "neoliberal" economy. Free.
