What: A Gift To Be Simple, our annual fundraiser
When: Thursday, November 9, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm
Where: The High Line Car House, 550 S. High St. in the Brewery District in downtown Columbus
Theme: Savor + Learn from Central Ohio Food Innovators
Panel: Chef Del Sroufe, author and co-owner of the Wellness Forum; Paula Penn Nabrit, founder of an award winning Community Garden in a Columbus food desert, and Nohal Alshahal, partner in her family's A&R Creative Group, now operating 10 businesses focused on healthy food and the local economy. Wolf Starr, a serial entrepreneur in his own right, will moderate the panel.
Cost: $50. Includes food by Two Caterers, music by Anna & the Consequences, and a one year membership in Simply Living!
FYI, Chef Del Sroufe will be signing his cookbooks after the panel presentation, including his NY Times best seller, Forks Over Knives (over 500,000 copies sold worldwide).
