Change slax login screen and brand

Hello to all,

New to Slax.

How to change or customize slax login screen and also avoid autologin to root.

Any help would be really appreciated.

You can remove the desktop.

The desktop is in /slax/modules/03-desktop.sb.  If you rename the extension this will not load so there will not be a desktop.  Therefor no auto-login as root.

You can load the modules but not start the desktop.

The desktop service is started, then /root/.xinitrc is called.  This inturn calls startfluxbox.  Remove or change /root/.xinitrc to achieve the desired result.

Thanks for your reply.

I made it by disable xorg service and installed xdm to get login screen so any user can login.

xdm uses the fluxbox session. Initially I found dificulties later on everything is fine.
