Alabama IT Whistleblower Fired For Spyware

Read through the comments. Opinions seem quite divided. Some say he was
rightly fired, others say he was doing his job, preventing misuse of
official machinery.

The questions not answered are- how much time was the boss spending on
the computer? 90 % of his 9-5 time? or 90 % of his "computer" time?

Big difference there. If it was the first case, the guy rightly
complained, if it was the 2nd case, then I don't know why he was so
anal about it. 45-50 minutes a day on the computer playing games is not
the reprimandable but 6-7 hours a day on the computer and 70 % of those
6-7 hours playing games. There's gross misuse.
