install SLAMPP across multiple HDDs and LVM

anyone know if you can install across multiple partitions and LVM ?
what i really want to do, that i've done before with other distros is:
/ , /var and swap on 3 partitions on hda
/home on a single LV with the VG spanning sda and sdb
possible ?
