Hello,

As a temporary measure I want to run SLAMPP to help diagnose some
problems (using squid as transparent proxy and rewriting some headers
that are causing problems plus other tools).

I do not want SLAMPP to act as the DHCP server (because of the
disruption to other things in the network) - and plan to reconfigure
just the end-point device to use the SLAMPP machine as network
gateway ... but via WiFi.

Set-up I am trying to get to is:
internet (DHCP server) -> ethernet -> SLAMPP -> WIFiAP (DHCP Server) -
testmachine

Problem I am having right now is to get both network interfaces up at
the same time (eth0 and wlan0).

i.e. SLAMPP machine gets its IP addresses (10.x.x.x from ethernet and
192.x.x.x from WiFi) via DHCP and performs routing between them.

When I enable the WiFi ... the ethernet gets dropped (and vice versa).

I assume that I need to do this by hand from command line - and I just
need some pointers.
