Creating dashboards

I'm trying to create a dashboard where I can visualize sensor data. I'd like to be able to select the sensors and the date range and see the graph. I'd also like to be able to zoom into the graph and export the data.

I feel like I'm getting close, but from the videos and documentation I've looked at so far it is not clear how I can achieve this.

Also, I am confused by the wrapping and dashboard card. I seem to lose everything everytime I try to wrap my markdown and chart cards.

Can you please point me to where/how I can learn this? I might be interested in paying for Slamdata if I could prove it can do what I need it to..
