As the subject says, the building lost power and apparently, the UPS did NOT do its job keeping our server up and running until the generator came on. Coming in to the server saying "PDR1101 Fault Detected on drive 2" with all three drive cases fast flashing in amber (at least I think that's amber, it's the top light on each of the drive cases).
Boots through BIOS to come to a "configuration can't be found" screen. Get into the RAID Array config and it shows all three drives as failed. I find that very hard to believe but is that possible? I've tried popping out all three, turning the machine on and going into the config and then plugging them back in and they'll go green for a bit but eventually go back to amber or flashing amber or "not working" basically.
What else can I try to see if these drives are actually dead or just wonky? And if wonky, how to revive? I was trying to wipe the config and then import the foreign config but pretty much everything is unavailable because the drives are showing as being in a failed state. As of now I'm restoring an image taken earlier to a different box but I'd like to get this back up and running as fast and as soon as I can, even if that means ordering three new drives.
I doubt the server is up-to-date on the firmware (1.48? Something like that, I'll restart and double-check) and unless I can run a diagnostics check from the BIOS or the System Config GUI, I can't get into an OS to do anything.
