Erros com sata no slackware 12.2 (longo)

informação mais próxima que tenho é que pelo código ICRC ABRT de
acordo com o http://ata.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Libata_error_messages
eu teria um problema de dma ou alimentação, alguém
já teve esse problema e conseguiu resolver ? percebi que muitos
usuários debian e ubuntu passam pelo mesmo problema
mas não encontrei solução ainda.

geralmente é problema mesmo com o disco. Troque-o o quanto antes.
Outra coisas que pode checar (após desativar este disco) é:
* firmware da placa mãe (atualize se tiver versão mais nova), ou seja,
controladora do disco.
* cabos dos discos
* porta SATA na MB (tente trocar)
Já tive problemas com firmware, atualizei e resolveu.
Já tive também problemas com cabos (mas era SCSI).
mas lembre-se, quase certamente a causa é o disco (que está p/ morrer).

cdrom em cable select para descartar a possibilidade de ser
reconhecido como mais um dispositivo sata durante o boot, funcionou
para mim com o12.2 e 13.0, sendo que não tive o mesmo problema com o
12.1.
