Problemas com Empathy

Salve Salve Galera!

Essa semana vim o Mensageiro Empathy na maquina de um amigo com o Ubuntu, gostei muito e decide instalar na minha, ate ai tudo bem instalei tudo direitinho, dependencias e etc, so que ta dando o seguinte erro.

Quando abro o programa como usuario ele abre tudo certinho mais nao mim deixa editar a conta, ou seja nao tem como colocar minha conta de msn, facebook, googletalk, etc. Via terminal tambem abre tudo certinho e nao retorna nenhum erro.

Ja como root nao consigo abrir e via terminal retorna o seguinte erro:
