Hi, I'm wondering if there's any plans for the API to programmatically create channels? And/or programmatically add integrations to channels? Theoretically, I'd like to have channels created that correspond to GitHub branches. When a new branch is pushed, it would use a web-hook to auto create the channel and maybe set up a github integration to have all commits of that feature branch pushed to that channel.

Really just curious if anyone else on the board would find this useful, or if it is already on the roadmap.

Thanks! - Blake

Hi Blake,

Our API roadmap includes basically everything that can be done by our clients, which includes programmatically adding channels, but I don't know how soon we'll get to that particular API method. Adding integrations is harder - only because we want to make sure we've worked out all the edge cases in authentication etc.

So, in short, we'd like to do all of this, but for now you might have to set up new github integrations manually.

Sorry I can't be more help!

Paul
