BEAMnrc pahsespace file format

I am trying to figure out how much pain is involved in "splicing" BEAM with Topas (extension of GEANT4).
Topas can read the phasespace file from TRUE BEAM.
I used BEAM but only generated phasespace files to feed to DOSXYZ so I never had any format compatibility problems
I never used TRUE BEAM.
I know BEAM can output a phsespace file in different formats.
I wonder whether BEAM can generate a phsespace file in the same format as TRUE BEAM.
