New Version of Acrobat Reader for Unix

The latest version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader, acroread, for viewing
PDF files has been installed for solaris and linux. This new version
is 5.05; our default version is 4.05. The new version supports
the latest PDF features.

You can invoke the new verison as "acroread-new" or "acroread-5.05".
Please send any questions or problems to unix-admin. If no
serious problems are found, we expect to make this version the
default sometime in the next month.
