New version of nedit available on unix

Until a few days ago, the production version of "nedit" on solaris
was 5.1.1, but was an older version (5.0.2?) on linux (due to our
oversight). This has been corected so that "nedit" on both
platforms is 5.1.1.

There is also a newer version now installed, 5.3. This can be
invoked as "nedit-new" or "nedit-5.3" (until today, "nedit-new"
was an alias for nedit-5.1.1). If there are no problems uncovered
with this new version, we expect to make it the default production
version next month.
