hi Dil,

first this is so much for setting up the spreadsheet this is wonderful.

Once people report an issue and we have dropped a "Info to land Owners" notcard to them and have  tried to talk to them, what, if anything, is done with this information after that?

Is it primarily just notice to us where the problems are? Or is there other things we can do?

Hi Tasha,

the sheet is an evolution in action :)
Maybe some history of this spreadsheet, which i love to call it WTB (spells WaterTroubleBase) ...

while cruising some once i leaned that even the water is not necessary free and stuck in a ban-line which showed up – as they always do – much to late.
BANG!!!
that nice free looking water between here and there wasn't free in anyway and grabbed me harsh from flying on the water to zero. Oh, that hurts so much.

Well, i started to talk with the Owners so could understand why they do so harsh ban-line-things and many were indeed not even knowing that their action is so hurting harsh other and changed their settings, parceled out the water-part or set at leased a warning buoy.

first the WTBs task were to help me out of my messed notices i did as notecards and had anywhere, but never where searched for in inventory. So i made a form ( http://bit.ly/WTB-form ) to use easily in-world to log fast annoying locations.
Some later Blondin L. asked on a forum for a “list of known bottlenecks”, so He got ( http://bit.ly/WTB-list ), but seemed to be to busy for investigating.
So i begun submitting cases through LLs issue-tracker. That were well working for a good time.

But SL continued to change...
Nice were LL set up the protected-water/-land and that made SL indeed much more sail-able.
Well also the sim-/parcel-extenders found their way to SL too.
So sadly again there are blocked water-ways.

Later due the ongoing land-price-crises people abandon land more and more.
LL cut their staff back and seem not to be able to reset that abandoned land-settings. Also, in the last few month LL changed the issue-tracker on land down to nothing suitable (under land the issue-tracker accept from free accounts only reports of “Initiate Region Purchase”, “Report an offline Region” or “Request a Rollback”)

But, what definitive is not intended in any way with the WTB is to blame or set anyone on a pillory. Therefor older infos need to get anonymized from time to time.

A side-idea of the WTB were to link it with a warning HUD to get warnings on a map in-world. Well even if i like to script its not something doing good or fast. So parts of it stuck as early beta in the deep of my inventory.

Due LL changed the primary way to inform them about wrong parcel settings on their land i am no longer able to submit them a case and need to wait till someone else report their issues and might like to push LL some other parcels with it.

The thought to make the WTB open is about redundancy in person, so infos do not get lost, even if some ppl might.

But i maunder, so back to track. Yes the WTB should help to organize and don't loose track, get all needed infos, avoid doing double work or ask the same Owner too many times.

But the collection of issues gives also a nice overview and better standing for upcoming discussions with LL as well.
