We're looking for a full-time consultant to our engineering team, that can help us make our products work better in Sri Lanka. The nature of the work is technical and project management, but will not involve writing code.

Required background and skills:

(*) Computer Science / Software Developer background - experience with Natural Language Processing would be a plus but not a must-have

(*) Native <your language> speaker with very good understanding of the language structure and its grammar - linguistics background a plus but not a must-have

(*) Excellent communication skills in English - oral and written

(*) Good knowledge of Google's products

(*) A leader - entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, able to work alone, able to initiate projects and drive them to completion

The consultant will work from home (in <your country>), and will spend approximately 10%-15% of the time in the US working with our engineering teams.

The position is full time, 8-9 hours a day, 5 days a week, although due to the timezone differences with the US, some of the work might be at unconventional times.

This is a 1 year contract as a consultant to Google (not a Google employee) that can potentially be extended.
