trouble connecting rigctl w FT-857 for TX Cat

i think this software is amazing! huge thank you to Alex VE3NEA for your effort, this is truly remarkable i've had so much fun with it! 

I've managed to get RX control working via SkyCat with my IC-706, but I'm struggling with my FT-857 for TX Cat. i see FT-857 isn't supported on SkyCat so I've been trying to use rigctl with this command:

.\rigctl.exe -m 1022 -r COM6 -s 38400 -t 4531
 
rigctl works from command prompt, f yields the frequency from the VFO. I've verified my settings - TX CAT is enabled and TCP port is 4531, but still TX Cat is red saying Not connected. i've also tried at 4800 baud same results, would really appreciate any pointers.

Use rigctld.exe instead of rigctl.exe.
