Hi,
Step 3: Create a shortcut to your skycatd.exe
Step 4: Edit the shortcut "Target" line to include the command line options for your particular radio/comport/baudrate/etc as per reading in step 1.
Example, Target by default will be just: C:\pathto\skycat\skycatd.exe - but you actually want it to be more like: C:\pathto\skycat\skycatd.exe
-m IC-9700 -r COM9 -s 115200 -t 4532 -vvv -f (for example!)
Step 4: Run your shortcut, you should have a window with a bunch of status messages, the last of which should be "TCP server started."
Step 5: Open SkyRoof, and under settings find RX CAT and TX CAT - Assuming SkyCat is running on the same computer as SkyRoof, you want both to be set to host 127.0.0.1 and port 4532.
That should be the default. If SkyCat and the radio are on a different host, use the IP address of that host.
Enable CAT in SkyRoof and that's all! You're off to the races.
