Can't make Skyroof use a SDR receiver

Can anyone here explain exactly what I am supposed to install to make Skyroof work with my RSPDXR2? It is seen in the software but there is no way to access or use it. Is there a driver somewhere that I should install or is it a setup problem? Thanks for any help.

Yes, API installed.  No change.

Please provide more detail. What exactly does it mean that " It is seen in the software but there is no way to access or use it" ? Where is it seen, and why do you conclude that it cannot be accessed? As always, a log file will help.

Does the SDR-Play work with other third party software such as SDR-Console or HDSDR. What is the status of the SDR status indicator at the bottom of the screen? Flashing Red/Green? I sometimes have to manually run the batch file to start the API.

Don't know what happened but it seems to be working. I get a waterfall and Skyroof has taken control of my SDR receiver because I can change frequency. I did not start SDR UNO or SDRconnect and they are not running. Is this the way it should work?

Congrats, Michel! Yes, this is how it is supposed to work. Only one program at a time can connect to an SDR device.
