Hello, i have the following problem...

If i make a recording and try to save this recording on MP3 or WAV, i get a warning
that this is not possible, and tells me that  naudio.core.dll is missing .

Is this probgram in the skyroof package or must i get it somewhere else?

I am using windows 10.

All replys are welcome..

Greetingsfrom  the Netherlands ( ron )

Hmm... NAudio.Core.dll is included in the installer. Please check the folder where SkyRoof is installed. If the file is not there, try to re-install the program.

Hello, there are 3 of us from my radioclub who have the same problem. We were going to report it.

Yep, working like a charm.

Let me ask you a question: I noticed that when the file is saved, the name contains the time when finally I click on "save", not the time when recording was started or stopped.

Cosmetics but ...  is it possible in a future version that time information be the recording start time? I explain why.

I've been using Audacity not only with SkyRoof but during HF contests  to record audio and I added an Audacity plug in where I can generate a time stamp track with 1 or 5 minutes "time ticks" so later I can recover specific logged QSOs audio searching for it using this time stamps. When using SkyRoof I've been using this audio track only to recover QSO time.

Does not need to be UTC or Local time, the time labels as already exists at the recorder are nice, if we took note of the recording start time. Later it's easy to pick up QSO data (time) just adding minutes to the recording starting time.

Ok may be I should improve my typing skills and simply use the QSO Entry to register them in real time 😁

Hi Marcus,

I will  change the time in the file name to the start time, this is not difficult. However, have you noticed the small shapes at the top of the recorder panel? They represent events that occured during the recording, such as satellite or transmitter selection change, mode change, or QSO saved in SkyRoof. If you save the audio and load it back, those shapes are also loaded, so all you have to do to find the QSO time is place the mouse cursor over the shape (squares are used for QSO). You can click anywhere on the recorder track to play the audio back from that point, so re-playing a QSO is just a mouse click away.

 Hi Alex:

Forget the file name proposal. There's already a easy way to read it (mouse over the 1st dot at any time).

Yes, I noticed the dots but not the squares just because I did not entered any QSO. And - yes again - I'm aware about clicking anywhere at the time line to "rewind".

I can track the recording start time by mouse over the 1st dot, it's already there. And then add X minutes to find the QSO start time.

I guess due to lack of skills I found the easier to record first and later extract QSO info to the log program.

Usually I register them at LOG4OM.
