Skyroof is an excellent product. Thank you.

I am running the latest HamLib connected to the ICOM IC-9100

rigctld --version
rigctld Hamlib 4.6.5 2025-09-05T19:49:48Z SHA=8a6bd5 64-bit

Everything seems to work well with the exception that it only works  on the RX VFO.  The TX VFO is blank.  Why?

Any help would be appreciated.

This is by design. If you use rigctld.exe instead of skycatd.exe, SkyRoof uses the same VFO for both RX and TX. When you switch to the transmit mode, the VFO jumps to the uplink frequency, and returns back to the downlink when you switch to receive mode.

Thank you for the additional information.    In my experience working ham radio  satellites using the IC-9100 it's been best when you operate in full duplex allowing you to hear yourself via the satellite.   Based on your reply using rigctld.exe only operates in half duplex.  Does skycatd.exe operate in full duplex?  BTW,  I did not see IC-9100.json file to support IC-9100.

Thank you for all your efforts.

skycatd.exe uses the full duplex mode if the radio supports it. Currently there is no json file for IC-9100, someone has to create it. Maybe, you could do this? The SkyCAT web site contains complete documentation needed to create such files.

Thanks for the info Alex.   I will start looking at building a IC-9100.json file.
