Manual freq control

I have been using SkyRoof 1.41. Often the Manual downlink feature gets ticked and 24.900 Khz gets added to the receive frequency.  There by lose the station calling me.  Rig used is IC97000. 

Please let me know how to disable this.

I have seen this behaviour before, but I am still not sure why this happens. Please set the CAT Control / Ignore Dial Knob setting to true in the Settings dialog and see if the problem goes away.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried that, it is not working. 

I find that for AO-7 - 0.00, ARISS - -24.867, AO123 - 0.00, AO-91 - -2.997, FO29 - - 0.213, SONATE - 0.00 SO-50 - 0.157 value in KHz varies.  This gets added to the Down Link freq.

I have the same issue when I use the normal SkyCAT.exe.  But when I use the SkyCAT-DUAL, I don't have this issue.  I'm also using the IC-9700.  I find myself still using the DUAL version so I don't forget to disable the manual function for the offset.

I also get this , almost random 24khz offset int the manual box - I think only on FM.  It seems to happen when I change over from a linear sat to an FM bird, but not every time!

 I am also using an Icom 9700.

Below is the link for SkyCAT.  You'll need to run a command to start SkyCAT, radio ID, com port, baudrate, port, verbose level as shown.

skycatd.exe -m IC-9700-DUAL -r COM5 -s 115200 -t 4532 -vvv -f  

There are 2 json files for the IC-9700.  I use IC9700-DUAL for FM birds.  And I use IC-9700 for the linear birds.

I have a single click PowerShell startup if you need an example.

Hi just wanted to add my report to the original question regarding the offset resetting to -25khz, as the information may be useful to diagnosis.

This happens to me on IC-910H using skycatd.exe as well, but only seems to be when I lose CAT control to the radio. I can get it to happen on command if I unplug and plug back in the cable or power cycle radio.

I've only noticed this on FM Sats. If it is happening with smaller offsets on Linear Birds as Ram Mohan G stated, then I haven't noticed this but will keep an eye out.

Happy to do any testing if needed. Thanks Alex for the great software and amazing pace that you have added features and improvements, I have been having a lot of fun with it.
