Greetings from Alaska again. So far I've been very satisfied with the performance of Skyroof. I do daily tests of various situations and new capabilities as they are implemented. It's my go-to satellite application now.

Now, there's something fundamental I might be missing here about setting PL/CTCSS. I understand the tone is set by the satellite transmitter definition. I'm one of those guys who usually has to activate the SO-50 timer with a 74 Hz tone after it sails across the Pacific Ocean and rises on North America. The definition with 67 Hz CTCSS doesn't do me any good until I activate the timer. I've been forced to switch to another application to do that. (My main radio is an IC-9700 with FT847 as a backup.)

Personally, I'd like to see a pulldown menu option with different tones and a tick box enabling tone transmission or disabling as needed. I'm wondering what others think. Please tell me if I'm missing something in Skyroof, too.
