I just tried SkyRoof and when I select an SSB satellite the default frequencies are not in the middle of the uplink and downlink bands. How do I configure the default frequencies? Gpredict which I use, selects the middle of the satellite band by default. Thanks for your answers

You can set your operating frequency within the transponder segment by dragging the green rectangle with your mouse, or by spinning the mouse wheel over the green rectangle, or by clicking on the signal trace in the waterfall, or ... read the SDR Receiver section in the Frequency Scale chapter of User's Guide for other methods. Once you set the frequency, SkyRoof will remember it and restore it when you select the satellite next time.

Thanks Alex,
but i don't use SDR, and i remote my 2 tranceivers with CAT and Hamlib.
It is difficult to tune the Tx and RX frequencies as I could do on Gpredict and have a follow-up between the transmit frequency and the receive frequency with the possibility of disengaging one or the other band to tune its return. The frequency management is more efficient on Gpredict but SkyRoof is more complete than my previous software and more intuitive for tracking satellites and I would like to be able to use it.

Phil,

You do not need an SDR to use all those commands that I mentioned, the frequency scale works even if you have only an external transceiver. You can tune keeping the uplink and downlink frequencies in sync, or you can change only one of them. Please read User's Guide, all this is described there in detail.
