A new version of SkyRoof will be released soon, it will, in particular, have improved integration with SkyCAT.

Alex:

Do you plan to eventually integrate SkyCAT (as well as rotctld ) inside of SkyRoof without the need to start these two prior to SkyRoof ?

SkyCAT was designed as a library so that eventually it would be integrated into SkyRoof. However, if I did this now, it would mean that

1) rigctld.exe would not longer be supported, 

2) remote operation would not be available out of the box.

(1) is important because SkyCAT currently supports only a small number of radios, the rest of the models use rigctld.exe.

SkyCAT is going to be used as a stand alone application, at least for now.
