Saving telemetry files

When decoded telemetry files are saved ? Sometimes text files are saved and sometimes no ! If i decode more than one satellite are all telemetry informations saved in the same text file ?

I didn't notice any problem so far.

All text printed in the screen is saved in a text file, one for each day of observations.

How do one get these "TelemetryDecodes" files ?

I only see 'TelemetryRegistry" with .json files.

I think that every time something is printed in the telemetry screen, is also saved in appending way. After 00:00 skyroof saves telemetry in a new txt file.

in my screenshot you can see the folder path, which is in the local user PC folders C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\....

You must enable the saving to TXT file in skyroof settings.

I enabled "Telemetry" > "Save to file" > "True", which was set to "False".

I still have a lot to learn ...

As soon as the 1st telemetry decode of the day occurs, a new file is created. After that, the file is being populated with the decoded info / data.

Thanks for your precious and friendly help. It’s not easy when you’re starting out in a completely new field...

Two more beginner questions 
- After downloading "All Satellite Data" when using SkyRoof for the 1st time, do I need to repeat the process, and if so, how often ?
- If I want to install SkyRoof another machine, is it possible to import the new satellite groups I’ve created and the ones I’ve modified, or - even better - import all my settings ?

Satellite data is auto downloaded every 7 days, orbit elements are downloaded once a day. 
You can copy all of your settings and data to another machine, see this section in User's Guide.
