Has anyone received any SSTV from JAMX01 ?  Thanks, Dean, PU7MOJ

Related Chinese SSTV activity (not from Tiangong)

A special event for China’s space industry 70th anniversary is scheduled for October 8–10, 2026. Two satellites will transmit:

  • Jing’an Dream Star (JAMX01) — SSTV
  • ASRTU Friendship Satellite / ASRTU-1 (AO-123) — SSDV (on 436.210 MHz)

Roughly 34 images total are planned. Exact pass times were to be released later by the organizers. Successful receptions can be submitted (with details) to CAS...@asesspace.com for a certificate.

There were only two passes over North America with JAMS01 transmitting SSTV. I recorded one of them. The signals were very weak, SkyRoof was able to detect sync pulses and identify the mode, Robot36, but could not decode the image.

There are two passes near me in EN52 later but we are going out for the day. Both are fairly low passes but I am going to leave Skyroof running with my RTL-SDR and see what happens.
