SkyRoof is an absolutely amazing program and Alex deserves a hearty thank you as well as our support!

Is there a squelch control somewhere in SkyRoof? I searched this discussion group and the SkyRoof User Guide but could not find any mention about how to control squelch on a radio.

My setup is SkyRoof running on a Windows 10 desktop with an RTL-SDR Blog USB dongle. Antenna is a discone in the attic.

If there is no way to control the squelch in SkyRoof, is there a companion program for radio control? If I install hamlib, would that enable more functionality for SkyRoof.

Thanks!

In the software receiver squelch in the FM mode is automatic but not adjustable, other modes do not have a squelch function. The squelch in the transceiver is not controlled by SkyRoof.

For CAT control please use SkyCAT if your radio model is supported, otherwise use rigctld.exe that comes with HamLib. User's Guide explains how to install them.
