IC-706Mk2G issues

Alex:

Finally back at it here.  I have the '706 hooked up but I'm running into problems. The radio will not respond to frequency change at all. It wanted to set it to split and VFO B even though I was just using the TX CAT.

Hi Jamie,

Thank you for the log! Here is a new command set file, with errors fixed. Please make sure that you are using the latest SkyRoof and that Radio Type in its Settings is set to IC-706MKIIG.

Please open cat_info.json in the data folder and replace "S 0 VFOA" with "S 0 VFOB", then it should start working.

I just went to make this change after installing v1.20.  What data folder?  I don't see this file anywhere.

Further info.  No data folder was created by the installer.  Windows search does not find a cat_info.json anywhere on the drive.

Click on Help / Data Folder in the menu to open the data folder.

Click the View button and make sure “show hidden” is selected. Just an idea from the sidelines 🙂

Show hidden files is always enabled on all of my computers.  Thanks for the input, though.
