Perhaps this has already been asked and answered. Just started using SkyRoof with my combo TinyGS + SatNOGS receiving and it's awesome!

But is there anyway to add a minimum satellite pass filter? I use an eggbeater + LNA and after a few hundred passes I can see that anything that never climbs above 15 degrees is not work monitoring. When I add a few to the four that I already copy, they often conflict time wise but not in altitude. So one may peak at 10 degrees near overlapping times with another that peaks at 60 degrees. Obviously, I don't want the low flyer to pull the frequency away from the high flyer when there is a time conflict.

In fact, is should be possible for the program to look at my satellite groups and optimize it for the highest passes taking priority over the time when there are conflict in overlapping times. I only collect telemetry and SSTV images and don't transmit so what I would like to have as an option is not what others may want. Prioritize pass height over time and then if to passes are equally as good say 15 degrees in this case then use time to sort out the conflict.

I haven't read the entire manual and perhaps this is hidden in there.

Again, it's an awesome piece of software and as a programmer, I know how much time and effort goes into our "babies."

Robert

You have full control over automatic switching between the satellites, see Auto Selection Panel in User's Guide. You can filter out low elevation passes, and you can configure it to select satellites based on their elevation.
