WSJTX, SkyRoof, IC-9700

I'm trying to setup WSJTX and SkyRoof to both communicate with IC-9700. A few unsuccessful experiments with rigctld - only download VFO is showing on the ICOM. I am not using SDR with SkyRoof. Wondered if anyone has had any success with this configuration?

p.s. I'm using rigctld-wsjtx, other versions of rigtcld failed in various ways.

p.s. Is there a way to use skycatd with wsjtx?

If your goal is to make FT4 contacts via a satellite, then you do not need to control the radio from WSJT-X. You should control it only from SkyRoof and configure WSJT-X as shown in this video:

Thanks Alex, that video was very helpful. I didn't realize IC-9700 enables two COM ports. The video also had hints about PTT over RTS. I then found this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhfUSRUP910) that showed how to configure the radio to respond. Got all the software working, now to fine-tune the antenna setup.
