IC-705 Rig Control

I cannot get my IC-705 rig control to work.  If I use rigctl, I can query frequency with no issues.  My startup parameter for rigctld are "C:\Program Files\hamlib-w64-4.5.5\bin\rigctld.exe" -m 3085 -r com5 -s 115200.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Joe:

Check settings under TX CAT and make sure type of radio is NOT Duplex. I picked FT-817, and it worked for my FT-818 AND IC-706Mk2G !

 I see1.18 Beta just came out per Alex with some new CAT stability programming. I look forward to testing this. I have a friend that has a ‘705 and loves it. If I can peel it away from him for a bit, I could test it with you. I generally like to use something like a Digirig interface - just small and efficient.

Let’s see what 1.18 does for you.

All,  thanks for the help.  I have it working well now.  The apply on the settings menu was off of the screen on my laptop so I was never applying the settings.  Scrolling did not work to show apply as well but making setting full screen took care of the visibility issue.  Now on with testing.  Like the changes in the new beta as well.

Thanks for the help.  My issue was that I could not see the apply button on the settings screen.  I had to make it full screen to become visible.  Now all is working as expected and on to more testing.  I loaded up the new beta and all is good.

This setup work fine.
