So far everything with RC is good. I am having difficulty decoding AX.25 packet. My assumption is that it’s something I have wrong.
I noticed when I was setting up VAC that I was not decoding ISS packet at all. So I went down to terrestrial APRS, and I couldn’t decode there either. Hmm… Streaming was set Audio to VAC. I tried Direwolf and Soundmodem. The one time I did get a decode was when my digipeater in the next room decided to digipeat and it registered in Direwolf. The signals sound ‘snowy’ coming in. The antenna is a Halibut 2M EggNogs I have setup inside on a test tripod - so I do have a wood and shingle radome. The receiver is an Airspy R2. I may add a broadband preamp. Any help appreciated.
