I am able to have SkyCat 1.5 connect to my FT-991a and perform commands such as displaying the current frequency and changing the frequency. I can also change modes etc.

When I run SkyRoof 1.20 SkyCat 1.5 connects to it and the RX and TX indicators blink on and off.

However the CAT function does not happen and the frequency and mode on the 991a does not change.

I have watched the verbose response in SkyCat as it goes through the commands and after it sends "Sending Bytes:54-58-3B (TX; Read PTT)" it then says "Bytes received:" then "Command failed: Recieved 0 bytes, expected 4 bytes.

It then says "Replying to client #1: 'RPRT -5' (I/O timeout)

It then goes into a loop with Client #2 and does the samething going on to Client #3 and so on.

I have attached screen shots of the verbose commands.SkyCat 1.png

Check the menu in the radio and make sure that the CAT RTS option is disabled. SkyCAT does not use RTS for flow control, it sets this line to Low to prevent accidental PTT keying, so the radio should not use it for flow control either.
