I'm stumped. I tried to change my mood message today. I went into the skype menu and it said change password, change picture, but not change mood. I think in the older version it did. I went on the homepage and didn't find it there, either. I have Jaws 12 and I'm running XP. I think I have the latest skype update. I also have the latest scripts. I would appreciate any help to do this. I want to change it before Saturday.

Thanks much, guys. I tried it with skypetalking, too and it didn't delete my former message.

Using SkypeTalking you should've not had any difficulties with changing your
mood message at all. The default keystroke with SkypeTalking is
Control+Alt+Shift+M, but to edit your mood message you would want to hit
this keystroke twice quickly.

Have you tried GW Micro's accessible "GW Connect" skype clone? Unless
you have need for video calling, this gives you a fully accessible
skype experience in which all features are accessible and things like
changing your mood message a breeze and that without any need for
scripts. GW Connect works with all screenreaders without extra
scripts. On the downside, without a subscription or window eyes
installed, gw connect advertizes the greatness of gw micro products
every half hour but unless you run gw connect 24/7, I find this tolerable.

i went to edit profile and Jaws stopped talking when I tried to read my profile. I looked with the Jaws cursor and it read a few thing, my mood message actually, but when I routed PC to Jaws it wouldn't do it. Could there be a setting off or something?

No wonder it wouldn't delete my other one. I forgot about hitting it quickly. I'll try that now. Richard told me about that when I first started using skypetalking, and I forgot it. Thanks much.

It's not going to automatically delete it, it's just going to place you
within an edit field so you can manually delete it and change it to whatever
you desire.

I did not know this since I rarely use skt. This goes into my private
packrat archive. Thank you for sending the instructions. *smile*

In the lastest, you need to delete mood before putting in new. The keystroke
is alt control shift m twice quickly with skype talking, though I thought
since you have scripts, there is a keystroke for that there too.

I did it and left the other part there, too. Thanks again for the reminder.
