Skyline Players, Parents & Friends:

 

With mixed feelings we announce that Coach Rod Jones has accepted a position with the University of Kansas football team, and thus will be leaving Skyline.   While we’re sad to see him go, this is a great opportunity for Coach to return to his alma mater.  Thanks, Coach, for being a big part of the exciting 2011 Skyline Football season!

 

 

We invite parents to come out to the Skyline Commons this Thursday, January 26^, from 7:15-8:00 to do three things:

 

1)      Say goodbye to Coach Jones

 

2)      Hear about the transition and timeline for hiring a new head varsity coach

 

3)      Learn more about the Skyline Football Parents Club.  We will have officer elections in February, and will need to replace several senior parents.  So here’s your chance to find out what’s involved!

 

 

The Head Varsity Football Coach position is posted on the Ann Arbor Public Schools employment site.  If you know an outstanding football coach, please encourage him to apply.
