Not able to view any metrics

Hi,

I am very new to skyline and any help would be appreciated.

I have set it up and tested seed_data.py which gives me positive result. Now, I want to get data from my splunk server to plot metrics and analyze anomalies. For this, I have written a acript in python which calls REST API of splunk and gives me result.

To send this to skyline, I am doing it the same way its been done in seed_data.py using socket. But I cannot see any metrics on skyline web. 

Could anyone please help how do I send my splunk data to skyline over UDP and without setting graphite.
