My client has forgotten her security question and her password and so
she can not sign on. How do I help her, please?

The Skylight Accounts system allows anyone to change their password if they know the secret pass phrase answer to their security question.  On the accounts sign on page at (http://apps.ctlt.wsu.edu/skylightaccounts), click the link "Forgot Password" in the menu.  An existing registered email address must be supplied at the next step, and then the security question is displayed.

If the person cannot remember the security pass phrase answer they supplied, then an administrator will have to assist them.

Hi Sue
Have her go to the account system link

Here you will put in your login ID which is your email, then her security question will be displayed and she can type in the answer and reset her password.

Thanks, Peg. Yes, we know how to change the password, but she has forgotten her security question.

Blake said an administrator needs to help, but we don't know how to get an administrator's attention.

Thank you,
Sue

HI Sue
She does not need to remember the question.

The question will be automatically displayed.

She only needs to know the answer.

For example if your security question is
what was your mothers maiden name?
This question will be displayed to the screen

If she does not know the answer, then an Administrator will have to be involved.

We would need a contact phone or email so we can initiate the process.

She mistakenly put the answer in the question field and has no idea what she put in the answer field.
