I've noticed since using Skylight that the text responses from
respondents are typically just one sentence. There are few
respondents who write anything very substantive. Although some of
this may be that everyone is busy, I think the single line of text
entry on the surveys may be the biggest reason. Having now completed
more of the Skyline forms online myself, this is even more obvious to
me.

I suspect that if the TEXT questions allowed for a bigger box with
several lines - it would make a big difference. I note that the box
into which I am typing now for this post is quite large, certainly
much larger than would be needed for Skylight. Look how it has
encouraged me to ramble a bit (the downside) and I am not even 1/3 of
the way in filling the box.

I think I'll stop though.

Please make the textboxes bigger or allow that as an option.

Hello
Thank you for your feedback.

The text box size is controlled by the survey author.

There are two types of text box questions in Skylight, single line and multiple line.

The multiple line text box defaults to five lines but can be also set to 10 lines by the survey author.
